BIOMECHANICAL Announces New Guitarist

U.K. epic progressive metallers BIOMECHANICAL have announced the addition of guitarist Chris Van Hayden to the group's ranks. "His awesome solid rhythm playing and solos convinced us that he is the man for the job!" the band writes in a statement. "Chris is also the main collobarator of the band CHAOSGENESIS."

The groups adds, "Chris has been a fan of the band and is very exited to be joining BIOMECHANICAL. The excitement is mutual and we are looking forward to completing the lineup and going on the road."

BIOMECHANICAL recently parted ways with Jamie Hunt (guitar),Chris Webb (guitar) and Jon Collins (bass) due to "personal reasons." Jonno Lodge and Gus Drax have since joined the group as their new drummer an guitarist, respectively.

BIOMECHANICAL's new CD, "Cannibalised", is due to be released early 2008 via Earache Records.
