BLACK CROWES To Masquerade As AC/DC Tribute Band At Halloween Tour Closer
October 31, 2005Launch Radio Networks reports: The BLACK CROWES are planning a Halloween surprise for fans when the group wraps up its U.S. tour tonight (Monday, October 31) at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago. The group will masquerade as its own opening act, dubbed BC/DC.
The six musicians will sport Angus Young wigs and caps and play a handful of AC/DC covers, then leave the stage to return for their regular BLACK CROWES show.
The CROWES plan to take the rest of the year off until New Year's Eve, when they'll play at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The group is planning to record a new album in 2006, but no firm details have been determined.
