BLACK FLOOD DIESEL Added To MUSHROOMHEAD Dates

December 13, 2006

Minneapolis, Minnesota rockers BLACK FLOOD DIESEL, whose forthcoming CD, titled "Chaos Saves", was produced by MUSHROOMHEAD drummer/producer Steve "Skinny" Felton, have been officially added to MUSHROOMHEAD's string of December tour dates. The details are as follows:

Dec. 13 - House of Blues - Chicago, IL
Dec. 15 - The Machine Shop - Flint, MI
Dec. 16 - Sherlock's - Erie, PN
Dec. 29 - Club Bijou - Toledo, OH
Dec. 30 - Peabody's - Cleveland, OH

Commented BLACK FLOOD DIESEL vocalist Greg Moog: "We're honored to open up for MUSHROOMHEAD, and ecstatic to debut the new material on this week-long jaunt before the holidays. Skinny did an amazing job for us, as the record came out better than we ever imagined. So to say he was easy to work with, and that he understood the direction that BLACK FLOOD DIESEL was headed in on 'Chaos Saves', would be an understatement. But what's as equally important to us, is that in making the record, we established wonderful friendships with Skinny and the boys that will no doubt last the test of time. Since our manager first introduced us, Skinny and they entire MUSHROOMHEAD camp have been incredibly supportive, and we consider the help we've received from them nothing short of a blessing. So needless to say, we're honored to hit the road those guys."

Added Steve "Skinny" Felton: "On the record we just worked on ('Chaos Saves'),and on this tour, people will see what we all already know, which is that BLACK FLOOD DIESEL is the real fucking deal. Greg (BLACK FLOOD DIESEL's vocalist) has incredible vocal ability and a sound all his own, the band is on point and as tight as can be, and they right truly great songs with HUGE hooks. They're the total package, and they're from the Midwest as well, so it was a no-brainer for us to take them out on the road."
