BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Parts Ways With ROADRUNNER RECORDS
June 15, 2007BLACK LABEL SOCIETY has announced via a MySpace bulletin that it has parted ways with Roadrunner Records.
"For all of you Berserkers out there, we would like to inform you that we have parted ways with Roadrunner Records," the band writes. "As we always want to keep you informed, we will let you in on the exciting announcement coming in the near future..."
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's sole release through Roadrunner was last year's "Shot to Hell" album.
"Shot to Hell" sold just under 32,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release last September — less than the 45,000 copies shifted by BLS's "Mafia" (Artemis) back in March 2005 — to land at position No. 21 on The Billboard 200 chart.
