BLACK LABEL SOCIETY: Three Dates Cancelled Due To OZZY's Recording Schedule

August 18, 2006

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY was forced to cancel three shows on the band's previously announced U.S. tour due to guitarist/vocalist Zakk Waylde's obligations in the studio in connection with the new OZZY OSBOURNE album. The affected dates are as follows:

Oct. 14 - House Of Blues - Myrtle Beach, SC
Oct. 16 - The Masquerade - Atlanta, GA
Oct. 18 - Rams Head Live - Baltimore, MD

As previously reported, an e-card for the upcoming BLACK LABEL SOCIETY album, "Shot to Hell", featuring album info, weblinks, AIM icon, and links to a contest giving away five signature Zakk Wylde model guitars, can be accessed at this location. The e-card also contains full streaming versions of "Concrete Jungle", "Black Mass Reverends" and "Blood is Thicker than Water", taken from the upcoming CD.

Produced by Zakk and Michael Beinhorn (OZZY OSBOURNE, KORN, SOUNDGARDEN),and recorded with longtime pals Craig Nunenmacher (drums) and John "J.D." DeServio (bass),"Shot to Hell" takes the ferocious hard rock of such BLS albums as 2003's "Blessed Hellride" and 2005's "Mafia" to a whole new level of "brewtality." A September 12 release via Roadrunner Records is expected.
