BLACK LABEL SOCIETY To Guest On Australia's 'Rage'

November 3, 2006

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY will be guest hosts on Saturday night's (Nov. 4) episode of "Rage" on ABC TV in Australia. Recorded when the band was in Sydney on its recent tour, the show will feature 40 of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's favorite videos along with a stack of BLS, BLACK SABBATH and OZZY OSBOURNE clips. A full list of what they will be playing can be found at this location.

As previously reported, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's previously announced U.K. tour, originally planned for March 2007, has been postponed due to unforeseen U.S. commitments. According to a posting on the Roadrunner Records U.K. site, "the band send their apologies to the U.K. fans and hope to reschedule the dates for later in the year. Ticket refunds will be available from points of purchase."

Roadrunner Records is making the second single from BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's new "Shot to Hell" album — "Blood is Thicker than Water" — available for free download from this location. A 15-minute audio interview with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY mainman Zakk Wylde, conducted recently by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia),can be downloaded at this location (6.1 MB).

"Shot to Hell" has sold 69,000 copies in the United States since its Sept. 12 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
