BLACK SABBATH Bassist Dismisses Football Club Report As 'Load Of Shite'

BLACK SABBATH/HEAVEN AND HELL bassist Geezer Butler has dismissed as false a U.K. report that he is considering buying into a Premiership football (soccer) club.

Digital Spy reported earlier in the week that the bassist — who is well known for his love of Aston Villa FC — has expressed an interest in investing some money into the West Midlands club.

Butler was quoted as saying, "I never miss a game on television in the U.S. where I live and I'm looking into into investing 60 million...of what I can't say."

However, when contacted by Black-Sabbath.com webmaster Joe Siegler about the report, his reply was that the story was false. Butler said, "What a load of shite."
