BLACK SABBATH: First New Zealand Show In Almost 40 Years Sells Out In 'Minutes'

November 29, 2012

According to TVNZ, BLACK SABBATH's first New Zealand show in almost 40 years sold out within minutes Friday morning (November 30).

Despite attempting to purchase their tickets as soon as they went on sale, a number of fans have reported being unable to secure seats for the April 20 concert.

David Andrew wrote on ticket sales vendor Ticketmaster's Facebook page: "Useless — BLACK SABBATH sold out within 30 seconds, yet there are tickets on TradeMe being sold for twice the price. I do hope that you guys will sort your shit out and report/cancel these tickets like you say you will, but have failed to do so many times in the past."

Ticketmaster responded by saying, "We forward all TradeMe issues on to the promoter to look into" and "we dislike these people as much as you guys and we're doing all we can to stop it."

Tickets are already for sale on TradeMe for as much as NZD 325 each (approximately $267),despite their original value being between NZD 119.90 (approximately $99) and NZD 159.90 (approximately $131).

Ticketmaster has now added a second BLACK SABBATH show for April 22.
