BLACK SABBATH Guitarist TONY IOMMI Interviewed For BBC's 'Seven Ages Of Rock'
May 16, 2007A film crew from the BBC headed up to the U.K.'s West Midlands before BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi went off on tour with HEAVEN AND HELL to interview him for the brand new series "Seven Ages of Rock", which starts on BBC2 this coming Saturday (May 19). Tony took part in episode 4, entitled "Never Say Die: Heavy Metal", which goes out on Saturday, June 9 at 9:10 p.m. on BBC2, and will be repeated the following day at 11:00 p.m. on BBC1. The new issue of Radio Times has a special preview feature on the whole series, which includes an interview with Tony.
Rhino has set August 28 as the release date for the HEAVEN AND HELL "Live from Radio City Music Hall" DVD and two-CD set. As the title implies, both the DVD and CD packages will include HEAVEN AND HELL's (the band featuring BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice) performance on March 30, 2007 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
