BLACK SEPTEMBER Completes Recording Session
March 4, 2009Chicago's black/death masters BLACK SEPTEMBER have completed their latest recording session at Bricktop Studios in Chicago with Andy Nelson.
BLACK SEPTEMBER's "The Sermon of Vengeance" seven-inch single will feature two original songs entitled "Blood for Oceans" and "Purification" and will be released in April through Shaman Records and others. "Hordes of Flesh and Bone", a one-song CD, will be a collaboration project with WINTERS IN OSAKA, featuring one epic 13-minute song. This collaboration combines the heaviness of BLACK SEPTEMBER with the experimental/horror psychedelic sounds of WINTERS IN OSAKA. Artwork for both releases can be seen below.
In other news, BLACK SEPTEMBER has announced a number of regional shows as well as an appearance at this year's For Real Fest.
BLACK SEPTEMBER's sound embodies the massive nature of BOLT THROWER and AMON AMARTH with the raw intensity of HIS HERO IS GONE and GORGOROTH all wrapped into one.
