The cover artwork for BLACK TIDE's forthcoming debut album, "Light from Above", can be viewed at this location (artwork by Ryan Gillis). Due on February 26 via Interscope Records, the CD was recorded with producer Johnny K, who has previously worked with DISTURBED, MACHINE HEAD and SOIL, among others.
BLACK TIDE recently released its first EP, entitled "Shockwave". Available for purchase at Hot Topic, the two-song disc includes the propulsive title track, "Shockwave", as well as the JUDAS PRIEST-like "Warriors of Time", exclusive video footage, sticker and guitar pick. The two songs are also available digitally through iTunes.
BLACK TIDE burst onto the metal scene with a month-long stint opening up the main stage of Ozzfest. San Antonio STUF-TV cable show "Robb's MetalWorks" has posted a seven-minute video clip featuring performance and interview footage with BLACK TIDE. A full "Robb's MetalWorks" episode on BLACK TIDE is expected to air on February, 17 to coincide with "Light From Above".
