BLACKGUARD Signs With VICTORY RECORDS

Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based sympho/black/folk/power metallers BLACKGUARD (formerly PROFUGUS MORTIS) have inked a deal with Victory Records. Tentatively due in the spring, the CD was recorded at several different studios, including Chris Donaldson's (CRYPTOPSY) home studio, Badass studios with producer Jef Fortin (ANONYMUS, NEURAXIS, THE LAST FELONY) and Silver Wing studios.

BLACKGUARD's debut album, "Profugus Mortis", was released in March 2009 in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records and April 2009 in North America through Sumerian Records.
