BLACKSHINE: 'Lifeblood' Release Date Announced
August 15, 2006Dockyard 1 has set a September 25 release date for the new album from Stockholm, Sweden's BLACKSHINE, entitled "Lifeblood".
The follow-up to 2002's "Soulless & Proud", "Lifeblood" was recorded at 52nd Music Studio with co-producer Tor Adolfsson and is said to be the band's "most interesting and catchy album" to date. Audio samples are available at the group's official web site.
BLACKSHINE parted ways with drummer Stefan "Stipen" Carlsson (HARM'S WAY, ex-MERCILESS, DIA PSALMA/STREBERS, TRANSPORT LEAGUE) earlier in the year and replaced him with Chris Barkensjö (KAAMOS).
BLACKSHINE was previously signed to the SPV label.
