BLAZE Cancel Belgian Gig, Fate Of Remaining Dates In Doubt
June 18, 2002Britain's BLAZE, led by former IRON MAIDEN/WOLFSBANE frontman Blaze Bayley, were forced to cancel their appearance with OVERKILL at Biebob in Vosselaar, Belgium on Sunday, June 16th after drummer Jeff Singer's brother became very ill, thus causing the band to return to their homebase earlier than expected.
Although BLAZE reportedly went ahead and performed at London's Underworld last night, a possibility exists that the rest of the group's tour with OVERKILL will be cancelled. An official announcement on the matter is expected in the next day or so.
