According to the group's official web site, "Rob informed the band he wanted to leave shortly after returning from the U.S. [following their appearance at New Jersey's March Metal Meltdown V festival] and after being given some time to think over his decision, has decided to stick with it. Wayne Banks (ex-SABBAT, GODSEND, THE NEWCRANES) will be taking over the bass-playing duties on BLAZE's forthcoming U.K. tour and subsequent festivals, but has yet to be announced as the official replacement for Naylor.
BLAZE's current touring line up is as follows:
Blaze Bayley - vocals

John Slater - guitar
Wayne Banks - bass
Phil Greenhouse - drums
A decision on the permanent line up for BLAZE will be made later this year before the band begin preparations for their third full-length album, tentatively due in early 2004.
