BLEEDING THROUGH Guitarist To Release Solo Album

June 27, 2013

Dave Nassie, lead guitarist for BLEEDING THROUGH, will release his first-ever solo album later this year.

BLEEDING THROUGH's "Declaration" (2008) marked Dave's first recorded appearance with the band (as a guest). He eventually joined as a full-time member, contributing to "Bleeding Through" (2010) and "The Great Fire" (2012).

Nassie recently filmed scenes for Next Level Guitar's 10-disc "Modern and Classic Rock Blues Masters", a forthcoming collection featuring a variety guitar players.

When Chris Shifflet left NO USE FOR A NAME to join FOO FIGHTERS, Dave Nassie took his place, beginning a ten-year stint with the band that included touring all over the world and several studio albums. Nassie was also a member of the short-lived project THE INNOCENT (with members of BAD RELIGION and THE DISTILLERS) and has played with INFECTIOUS GROOVES and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES.

Nassie has been keeping busy doing clinics for Charvel as well as private Skype lessons with students in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, India, South America, Japan and North America.

BLEEDING THROUGH recently announced plans to disband after 14 years in existence. They wrapped a final tour of Europe this spring and will head to Australia next month for their last appearances Down Under. A farewell U.S. tour is in the works for the fall.
