BLEEDING THROUGH: Performance Footage From SOUNDWAVE Festival Posted Online
May 5, 2008Video footage of Orange County, California's BLEEDING THROUGH performing the song "Love in Slow Motion" at the Soundwave 2008 festival in Australia can be viewed below.
BLEEDING THROUGH is currently in the studio in Vancouver, Canada with producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, LAMB OF GOD, SOILWORK, DARKEST HOUR) recording its new album, "Declaration", for a summer release.
"Declaration" is said to be a "concept album" about the rigors of being away from home.
"Every song will be named after a different city or state," BLEEDING THROUGH frontman Brandan Schieppati told Revolver in the magazine's May 2008 issue. "There are definitely places when we're traveling where every time we go there, we're like, 'Fuck, why do we have to be here?' Like, we'll be in France and all of a sudden we'll feel totally insignificant. You get the feeling that people's eyes are just burining a hole through you."
According to Schieppati, "Declaration" will be heavier than its predecessor. "I think it bridges the gap between 'The Truth' and [2003's] 'This Is Love, This Is Murderous'," he told Revolver. "The melodies are darker, the riffs are heavier. We just wrote a really aggressive record that encompasses everything we've ever tried to do as a band and then raised the bar a notch or two."
