BLIND GUARDIAN: First North American Dates Announced

German melodic metallers BLIND GUARDIAN will be returning to North America this fall to play a number of U.S. shows in support of their new album. So far the following two dates have been released:

Nov. 08 - Tempe, AZ @ Marquee Theatre
Nov. 14 - Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom

As previously reported, the extreme music photo site xPhotox has uploaded several photos from BLIND GUARDIAN's May 5 show in Rijssen, Holland. This was the live debut of the band's new drummer, Frederik Ehmke (Schattentantz). Check out the pictures at this location.

BLIND GUARDIAN recently issued a single, entitled "Fly". The group's new studio album, which has a working title of "A Twist in the Myth" (working title),is due this fall via Nuclear Blast. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "This Will Never End", "Fly", "A Twist in the Myth", "Turn the Page", "In Search of the Lionheart", "Straight Through the Mirror", "Another Stranger Me", "Skalds and Shadows", "Otherland", "The Edge", "Carry the Blessed Home", and "New Order". The Japanese version will have a bonus track called "All the King's Horses". A European tour (with support from ASTRAL DOORS) will take place in September/October.
