BLIND STARE Parts Ways With Bassist

Turku, Finland-based "melodeath" band BLIND STARE has parted ways with bassist Kalle Lahti. The group says in a statement, "There are no hostilities whatsoever and our ways separate in very neutral and friendly mood. We thank Kalle for everything he's done for the band — both musically and mentally, you've been one hell of an entertainer!"

BLIND STARE is currently working on material for its second full-length album.

Demo versions of three new songs — "The List", "Daughter of the Sun" and "Mind's Armor" — are available for download on the band's official web site. They can also be streamed below.

BLIND STARE's debut album, "Symphony of Delusions", was released in 2005 via Arise Records. The CD was recorded at the Noisecamp/Musamuusa studios and featured artwork by Jan Yrlund from Danse Macabre.
