BLINDSIDE: Five New Songs Available For Streaming

June 19, 2007

Sweden's BLINDSIDE have made five new tracks available for streaming on the bands MySpace page. The songs will be included on the group's new EP, "The Black Rose", which is being released on June 27. In addition to the five new songs, the EP features three live recordings of tracks from the band's previous album, "The Great Depression". The disc will apparently not be available in the U.S. except on iTunes and via the official BLINDSIDE web site.

"The Black Rose" unconfirmed track listing:

01. The Way You Dance
02. Slowmotion
03. Pretty Nights
04. The Color of My Eyes
05. Black Rose
06. My Alibi (Live)
07. Fell In Love With The Game (Live)
08. When I Remember (Live)

In a recent interview with BandsOnFire, BLINDSIDE guitarist Simon Grenehed stated about the band's current label situation, "It's a little bit up in the air, for sure. What we've done is that we licensed the record to a couple of companies in Europe and we're probably going to release it in these countries in Europe, like Northern part of Europe. Germany, England and Scandinavia will have the actual record and for the rest of the world we're releasing it through our webpage somehow like a digital thing, but we'll probably have something on our webpage as well so that you can also buy it, like the actual product."

BLINDSIDE's last album, "The Great Depression", was produced by Lasse "Lars" Marten and was released in August 2005 via DRT Entertainment.
