BLINDSIDE To Release New EP This Month

June 19, 2007

Sweden's BLINDSIDE will release a new EP, entitled "The Black Rose", on June 27. The EP reportedly features five brand new songs and three live recordings of tracks from the band's previous album, "The Great Depression". The disc will apparently not be available in the U.S. except on iTunes and via the official BLINDSIDE web site.

"The Black Rose" unconfirmed/incomplete track listing:

01. The Way You Dance
02. Pretty Nights
03. My Alibi (Live)
04. Fell In Love With The Game (Live)
05. When I Remember (Live)

Three more new tracks will reportedly appear on the EP (for a total of five new songs).

In a recent interview with BandsOnFire, BLINDSIDE guitarist Simon Grenehed stated about the band's current label situation, "It's a little bit up in the air, for sure. What we've done is that we licensed the record to a couple of companies in Europe and we're probably going to release it in these countries in Europe, like Northern part of Europe. Germany, England and Scandinavia will have the actual record and for the rest of the world we're releasing it through our webpage somehow like a digital thing, but we'll probably have something on our webpage as well so that you can also buy it, like the actual product."

BLINDSIDE's last album, "The Great Depression", was produced by Lasse "Lars" Marten and was released in August 2005 via DRT Entertainment.
