BLOOD DUSTER To Film Melbourne Show For Upcoming DVD

April 17, 2004

Australian grindcore band BLOOD DUSTER will be filming their April 23 performance in Melbourne for an upcoming DVD, tentatively due before the end of the year.

In other news, BLOOD DUSTER will be releasing a new single, entitled "sixsixsixteen", on May 3. "The single will be coming out with two covers," the band write on their web site. "This is not some scam trying to get people to buy two copies but it is because retailers will not want to stock the most fucked up cover we've ever done artwork that was given to us by the great Ray Ahn. (of HARD-ONS fame). You will know why when you see it. It's just so wrong on so many different levels."

Also on the BLOOD DUSTER-related front, the band are planning a split 7" single with VENOMOUS CONCEPT, the new band featuring MELVINS/FANTOMAS guitarist Buzz Osborne, ex-BRUTAL TRUTH singer Kevin Sharp, plus NAPALM DEATH members Shane Embury (bass) and Danny Herrera (drums). "We will be recording a few new songs for this as well as a couple of DEPRESSION covers and whatever comes out best, that's what we will use," the band write.
