BLOOD OF CAIN Announces 'Tame The Flame' Benefit Concert

August 12, 2008

Northern California death metal band BLOOD OF CAIN has seen a great amount of suffering as a result of the recent fires that have wiped out hundreds of homes in the Northern California area. So much so that they have gathered the resources and talent to put together a benefit concert to make a positive impact on the lives of those effected. The benefit concert, dubbed "Tame The Flame", will be held on Saturday, August 23 at The Senator Theatre in the band's hometown of Chico. The concert starts at 6:00 p.m. The band invites everyone to come help make a difference.

Commented vocalist Frank Beden: "So many people have been affected by the fires this summer. Some people have been totally devastated. The Red Cross and other organizations, totally take care of (our community) when these type of events occur. BLOOD OF CAIN is all about the music and we felt the need to gather members of the metal and rock community, here in our home town, to raise money and awareness."

The Tame The Flame concert includes a mix of metal, rock, and punk bands, most of which are based in our around BLOOD OF CAIN's hometown.

The current benefit lineup includes:

THE SECRET STOLEN
VEXT INTENT
ESOTERIC
BLOOD OF CAIN
LYSISTRATA
ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE
CONSTANT GREY
TORNADO WOLVES
