BLOOD OF CAIN Recording New Material

February 26, 2009

While Northern California's death metal prophets BLOOD OF CAIN are enjoying the ferociously positive reception metalheads from all points of the globe have given to the band's blistering self-titled EP, the band is hard at work writing and recording tracks for a second release, tentatively due before summer 2009.

The band states, "2008 was a very chaotic year for BLOOD OF CAIN. There were many ups and downs. We have learned a lot from the 'downs' and embraced the 'ups,' so the focus and energy is there and we are kicking ass. The music that has been written and recorded for our next release is heavier and, at times, more progressive than what was offered on our debut EP. Our fans on the west coast, who have witnessed some of this new material live, are giving it the 'horns up.' We cannot wait to release it the hordes of headbangers waiting to hear it."

The focus and passion it takes to create and record the type of epic death metal BLOOD OF CAIN's fans expect, has not kept the band from taking time to "hit the road" and performing their style of death metal to those who dare witness.

"We have some outstanding shows scheduled in 2009 and more are in the works. Gigs with ALL SHALL PERISH, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, CARCASS, SUFFOCATION, THE FACELESS, VEIL OF MAYA, and STRATOVARIUS are already booked. Our goal is to hit the road by the end of summer to support our new release."
