April 8, 2009

Norwegian death metal tyrants BLOOD RED THRONE have posted a new song, "The Light, The Hate", on their MySpace page. The song comes off the band's fifth album, "Souls Of Damnation", which is scheduled for release on June 1 in Europe and June 30 in the U.S. via Earache Records. The limited-edition first pressing of the CD, which will coincide with the band's 10th anniversary, will include two bonus tracks, plus a special DVD featuring an exclusive new interview with the band, along with an in-depth studio diary documenting the album's recording process.

Guitarist Død comments on the track: "'The Light, The Hate' was one of the first songs I wrote for the new album. It has it all. Fast parts, groovy parts and a nice lead. This will definitely be in our live set!"
