BLOOD TSUNAMI, the Oslo, Norway-based thrash metal band featuring drummer Bård G. Eithun (a.k.a. Faust; SCUM, ABORYM, ex-EMPEROR),will support black metallers SATYRICON on the Norwegian portion of their European tour. Also on the bill is the up-and-coming UK thrash band EVILE.

BLOOD TSUNAMI recently entered Lion Heart Studios in Oslo to begin recording its sophomore album for an early 2009 release via Candlelight/Nocturnal Art Productions. Eithun says, "Things are going all good, although we need to slow down the process a little now, seing as we need to get in shape for the SATYRICON thing."

According to the group, the follow-up to 2007's "Thrash Metal" will contain material that is "faster, darker and heavier than before. We have even added some slower parts, but still with the melodic twist to it all. A total of seven tracks constituting approxemately 45 minutes of music will be recorded. We will produce the album ourselves but Andre Cosmo Søgnen will partly help us out as a co-producer. Once again, the cover will consist of a painting made by the skilled Alex Horley. BLOOD TSUNAMI are on a mission to reclaim the painting as the cover artwork."

BLOOD TSUNAMI is:

Pete Evil - Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals
Bosse - Bass, Backing Vocals
Faust - Drums
Dor Amazon - Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals

The band added, "We are happy to have a lineup that proves stable and strong and the four of us is really excited to work together in the studio again."
