BLOODSHED: Guitarist JOEL GEFFEN Rejoins The Fold

September 19, 2007

Swedish death/black metallers BLOODSHED have issued the following update:

"What will hopefully be the last lineup change in the band occured the last months: Joel Geffen [guitar], the man who was part of starting the band and contributed in a large degree to the creative process, is back in the band. He has already started contributing in the creative process.

"On a slightly related note, we have done demo recordings of five new songs. It all sounds very promising. Most of them only have working titles so far, so there's idea in revealing anything like that.

"New gig: October 20th at Club Blacksmith in Södertälje, Sweden. It's still not clear if Joel will be able to participate though. With or with him him, we will wreak havoc!"

Fan-filmed video footage of BLOODSHED performing the song "Cravings" on July 21, 2007 at Harry B. James in Stockholm has been posted on YouTube and can be viewed below.

"Cravings" will be included on BLOODSHED's upcoming album "Stale Cold Cell Recital", for which the band has not yet announced a release date.

"Stale Cold Cell Recital" was recorded at Necromorbus studio with producer Vidar Widgren.
