BLOODSHOTEYE Parts Ways With Bassist, Seeks Replacement

January 6, 2009

Leamington, Ontario, Canada-based female-fronted "deathcore" band BLOODSHOTEYE has issued the following update:

"Unfortunately we are on the hunt for a new bassist once again... Jer [Candusso] will be moving out west for work in February, all the best of luck to him with that. So if you're a bassist or know of a bassist who would like to try out for the position, send us a message. We prefer someone with band/show/touring experience, at least 20 years old, good gear, able to practice two times a week in Leamington. We will consider a guitarist-turned-bassist as we have a five-string bass and amp suitable for practicing.

"Our third album, which is already recorded, will be released in the spring, with lots of shows and touring in support of afterwards."

BLOODSHOTEYE has released two albums through the Canadian label Galy Records and has toured with such acts as DYING FETUS, CRYPTOPSY, MISERY INDEX and CANNAE.
