BLOODSHOTEYE To Film 'Hitlist' Video

June 22, 2004

Leamington, Ontario-based metallers BLOODSHOTEYE will be filming a video for the track "Hitlist" in mid-July. "We have been awarded VideoFACT funding to complete a shot-on-film, major-budget video," the band write on their web site. "Thanks to our friend Justin at Unstable Ground for making this happen and who will also be taking the project under his wing. Without giving away any secerets trust me this isn't going to be just 'another' video we are going to be making something totally unique, with a wiring team that's done 'Bullet Proof Monk' and make-up effects [for] 'Dawn of the Dead'. This will have to be seen to be believed!"

BLOODSHOTEYE have just released their debut album, "Without Any Remorse", through Galy Records. The album features a guest appearance by LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe in the track "F.U.B.A.R".

BLOODSHOTEYE's rhythm section has been together for seven years as such bands as CAPITAL PUNISHMENT and ONCE DEAD, according to the group's official biography. The band's influences include LAMB OF GOD, CHIMAIRA, LIVING SACRIFICE, BURNT BY THE SUN, HATEBREED, SLAYER, SKINLESS and CALIBAN, among others.
