BLOODSIMPLE: New Album Due In July
May 28, 2007BLOODSIMPLE bassist Kyle Sanders has issued the following update:
"We just wrapped up a week with our buddies in HELLYEAH and the shows couldn't have been better. Vinnie Paul is BACK IN ACTION!!! Damn good thing to see. We can honestly say to the fiveies we hit...you guys are completely insane!! Holy sit!! We got to play five [songs] ...finally... and now we can officially say we're back! Record/DVD combo should hit Europe in July with U.S. release to coincide or immediately follow. We have three days at home then go hook up with SLAYER for our European festival run. Also will have U.S. summer tour plans to announce in the next week or two."
BLOODSIMPLE's sophomore album, tentatively titled "Red Harvest", was produced by Machine (LAMB OF GOD, WHITE ZOMBIE). The LP will contain around 11 tracks, including "Dead Man Walking", "Dark Helmet", the title cut and "El Myr" — the name of an Atlanta burrito bar the band loves to visit while on the road.
BLOODSIMPLE's debut CD, "A Cruel World", was released in March 2005 on MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray's Bullygoat label imprint (via Warner Bros.).
