On February 17, Jay Nanda of the San Antonio Metal Music Examiner conducted an interview with acclaimed hard rock/heavy metal drummer Bobby Jarzombek. The chat can now be viewed in two parts below.

Los Angeles, California-based Platinum Samples, one of the foremost producers of drum samples in the world, recently issued "Bobby Jarzombek Multi-Format Metal MIDI Groove Library", formatted for BFD2, BFD Eco, EZDrummer, EZplayer, Superior Drummer 2.0s, Addictive Drums, Cakewalk Session Drummer as well as General MIDI which can be used with any GM compatible drum software or hardware. The "Bobby Jarzombek Metal MIDI Groove Library" includes 24 complete performances by Jarzombek and edited into separate grooves for easy song creation. The package which features over 1,670 MIDI files (over 3,430 bars of grooves),with tempos ranging from 92 BPM to a blistering 298 BPM, is available as an immediate download product at this location.

"I am proud to be a part of the Platinum Samples family and am thrilled to see this project come to fruition," states Jarzombek. "I had previously worked with Platinum Samples on 'Joe Barresi Evil Drums' back in 2006. It was a great experience so I was honored when they asked me if I would be interested in doing a metal grooves pack of my own. This is an awesome creative tool that will kick your songs up a whole new level, so if you've been looking for a reason to ditch the uninspring old drum machine — now is as good a time as any!"

Best known for his 10-year tenure with the HALFORD band, featuring legendary JUDAS PRIEST vocalist Rob Halford, Bobby Jarzombek is also currently the drummer for progressive metal pioneers FATES WARNING, long-running New York City metal institution RIOT, and former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach. Making his recording debut with JUGGERNAUT on "Baptism Under Fire" in 1986, the San Antonio, Texas native has also toured and recorded with SPASTIC INK, ICED EARTH, DEMONS & WIZARDS, ROB ROCK, JOHN WEST and PAINMUSEUM, among others.

Jarzombek just wrapped up a six-month world tour with HALFORD in support of the band's latest studio effort, "Made of Metal".
