BOIL Completes Recording New Album
February 20, 2009Danish progressive hard rockers BOIL, who feature in their ranks a former member of KOLDBORN, have finished recording the follow-up to 2007's "Vessel". The as-yet-untitled CD was tracked over a two-month period at Sleepwalker Studios. Mixing will be handled by guitarist Stig Nielsen during the coming months. The band describes the new songs as "ranging from less than three minutes to over eight minutes in length; really dark stuff, really heavy stuff, and really emotional stuff. This promises to be a truly diverse album, portraying a more personal and mature BOIL."
Video footage of BOIL performing a new track called "Redefine" earlier this month at Ridehuset in Aarhus, Denmark can be viewed below.
"Vessel" earned BOIL a Danish Metal Awards nomination in the "Best Debut Album" category.
