BOIL: New Album Title Announced

August 13, 2009

Danish progressive hard rockers BOIL, who feature in their ranks a former member of KOLDBORN, have tapped renowned producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, HATESPHERE) to master their sophomore album, "A New Decay". The CD was tracked over a two-month period at Sleepwalker Studios. Mixing for the effort was handled by guitarist Stig Nielsen.

"A New Decay" consists of 11 songs with a playing time of 55 minutes. The band describes the new songs as "ranging from less than three minutes to over eight minutes in length; really dark stuff, really heavy stuff, and really emotional stuff. This promises to be a truly diverse album, portraying a more personal and mature BOIL."

Fan filmed footage of BOIL performing at the SPOT festival in May 2009 in Aarhus, Denmark can be viewed below.
