BOLTDOWN Signs With DARK BALANCE RECORDS

December 25, 2007

UK death/trash act BOLTDOWN has inked a deal with Holland's Dark Balance Records. The group's first CD, "Omnicide", is scheduled for release on March 3, 2008. Mixed and mastered by Scott Atkins (STAMPIN' GROUND guitarist, who previously produced releases from BLINDSIGHT and ROMEO MUST DIE, among others),"Omnicide" features "quality thrash/death . . . with distinctly aggressive vocals and ferocious riffing in the vein of CHIMAIRA, DEVILDRIVER, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, AS I LAY DYING and DARK TRANQUILITY," according to a press release.

Three full songs from "Omnicide" can be streamed on the band's MySpace page.

In April 2008, the Newcastle lads will tour through the BeNeLux and the UK with Dutch death metallers DETONATION, and on select dates, IMPIOUS and ROMEO MUST DIE as headliners.
