BONDED BY BLOOD Singer Issues Studio Update
January 17, 2008New-school Los Angeles thrashers BONDED BY BLOOD have entered J Street Recorders in Sacramento, California with producer Michael Rosen (TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL) to begin recording their new album, "Feed the Beast", due later in the year via Earache Records.
Commented BONDED BY BLOOD vocalist Jose "Aladdin" Barrales: "We are away for about two weeks and a half recording our debut album. Drum tracks are done, and man, oh man, do they sound ball-crushing. Right now we're on guitars. Gonna do some bass. Maybe squeeze in some vocals. The songs are gonna blow brains."
With its dynamic comic book-style artwork, "Feed the Beast"'s cover conveys not only the sense of danger and electricity that is personified in the music, but a deeper meaning is conveyed as well. "The artwork represents my whole view on Los Angeles. It takes you in and spits you back out," says Barrales. "L.A. is like a beast; if you don't do the right 'thing,' you will end up on the streets. I think Tom, the artist, took my interpretation and made it come alive."
