BORISLAV MITIC: 'The Absolute' Now Available

December 5, 2009

Virtuoso guitarist Borislav Mitic returns to the spotlight after a longer absence with a new album, titled "The Absolute", that was released on December 4 via Lion Music. The noted Canadian shredder delivers his third and heaviest work to date packed with 10 blazing instrumental tracks.

This concept album contains some intentional hints of the past while looking to the future. "The Absolute" takes the listener through a maze of different metal music influences that left an impact on Borislav (from NWOBHM to thrash) which he transmutes and delivers back to the audience in a new light.

The album was recorded, played and produced in its entirety by Borislav Mitic alone.

The main focus of this work is really on memorable songs and thundering riffs combined with virtuoso elements as an attempt to set a new path in metal instrumental music genre by giving it an attitude that could be more acceptable to a wider metal audience. However, fans of pure guitar shred fireworks will not be disapointed, since "The Absolute" is certainly loaded with more uncompromising, burning lead playing of Borislav Mitic then ever before!
