BRAIN DRILL Announces New Drummer, Seeks Bassist

September 1, 2008

Santa Cruz, California-based death metallers BRAIN DRILL have announced the addition of drummer Joe Bondra from Pennsylvania to the group's ranks.

Commented Bondra: "I always thought that BRAIN DRILL was one of the most brutal bands in the death metal scene, and now I am extremely excited to be part of that band and I am even more amped to be able to start playing shows and work on our new material."

BRAIN DRILL is now looking to recruit a new bass player. If you are interested send the band a video or mp3 showcasing your skills as a bass player. An audio file is fine but the band prefers video if possible. You can post your tryout on YouTube or MySpace TV and then send the link to the band by emailing it to [email protected] or via their MySpace page. BRIAN DRILL would prefer it if you are from the Bay Area or somewhere in California, but it is fine if you are in another part of the country as long as you are willing to relocate or travel frequently. BRAIN DRILL is NOT going to fly you out to California so please make sure you will be able to travel if you are serious about joining the band. Persons trying out for the open position in the band definitely need to have a valid driver's license, no drug or women problems, be able to drive 8-10 hours at a time, and someone who will be able to tour once the band gets back out onto the road.

Capital Chaos has posted video footage of BRAIN DRILL performing the song "Apocalyptical Feasting" on November 24, 2007 at The Kennel Club in Sacramento, California. Watch the clip below.
