BRAINSTORM Schedule First Live Appearances Of 2006

December 22, 2005

German power metallers BRAINSTORM have scheduled several dates in 2006 following a brief break to allow frontman Andy B. Franck to receive treatment for neuritis.

Commented Franck: "After some weeks of recovery, I'm feeling much better now. Everything developed in a very positive way so finally I'm feeling even better than ever! I received tons of e-mails for my recovery and this of course helped a lot. Big *hugs* for all your best wishes! You're fuckin' amazing and I fuckin' love you! We'll be back on the road to unleash the monster again, I am very looking forward to the upcoming shows — the monster is back on track!"

During the two-month break, Torsten Ihlenfeld (guitar),Milan Loncaric (guitar) and Dieter Bernert (drums) commenced the songwriting process for BRAINSTORM's next album. According to a posting on the band's web site, the new ideas "sound really incredible so far. Andi [Mailänder, bass] joined us on the rehearsals last week and was really [impressed by] the new stuff."

Upcoming BRAINSTORM shows:

Mar. 10 - Atarfe Vega Rock Festival - SPA
May 19 - Sägfestival – Greding, GER
Jun. 2-4 - Rock Hard Festival – Gelsenkirchen, GER

BRAINSTORM's latest album, "Liquid Monster", was released last spring via Metal Blade Records. The CD was mixed at House Of Music Studios in Winterbach, Germany with producer Achim Köhler.
