BRAINSTORM recently entered Gate Studios in Wolfsburg with producers Sascha Paeth and Michael Rodenberg to begin recording their as-yet-untitled new CD, tentatively due on January 28, 2008 via Metal Blade Records. A single will precede the album sometime on October 22. Songtitles set to appear on the full-length CD include "Fire Walk With Me", "All Alone", "Protect Me From Myself", "Surrounding Walls", "Stained With Sin" and "Falling Spiral Down". "This will become the strongest BRAINSTORM album so far!" stated singer Andy B. Franck.

Metal Blade in June released the first-ever BRAINSTORM DVD, "Honey from the B's (Beasting around the Bush)". The box set was released in digipack format "with special metal effect." The disc entered the Hungarian Music DVD chart at position No. 18.

BRAINSTORM recently parted ways with longtime bass player Andreas Mailänder and is currently seeking a replacement.
