BRAZEN ABBOT Sign With FRONTIERS RECORDS

BRAZEN ABBOT, the brainchild of Bulgarian guitarist Nikolo Kotzev, have signed a new deal with Frontiers Records. The BRAZEN ABBOT DVD is completed and ready for release in October. A CD with music from the DVD will be released at the same time. A new BRAZEN ABBOT album is in the works as well The album, which will contain 11 tracks, will feature the following lineup:

Nikolo Kotzev - guitars, violins, percussion
Wayne Banks - bass
Nelko Kolarov - keyboards, organs
Mattias Knutas - drums
Joe Lynn Turner - vocals
Göran Edman - vocals
Erik Martensson - vocals

The drums for the upcoming CD have already been recorded, and Nik is hoping to have the recordings completed before Christmas.

In other news, Kotzev will tour with BEE GEES' Robin Gibb in Germany in September. Confirmed tour dates are as follows:

Sep. 18 - Bonn, GER @ TBA
Sep. 20 - Frankfurt, GER @ TBA
Sep. 21 - Berlin, GER @ TBA
Sep. 22 - Dresden, GER @ TBA
Sep. 24 - Bremen, GER @ TBA
Sep. 25 - München, GER @ TBA
Sep. 26 – Bamberg, GER @ TBA

The concerts will be performed with a philharmonic orchestra from Frankfurt, consisting of 30 musicians. The backing band consists of four musicians and four singers. Nik has also arranged and scored all the songs so they will work with the orchestra. In addition, one of the concerts will be filmed for a DVD release.
