Brazil's KAVLA Prepare To Enter Studio

October 15, 2005

Brazilian heavy metallers KAVLA have finished pre-production of their as-yet-untitled second album. Fábio Silva (guitars and backing vocals),Sandro Silva (guitars and backing vocals),Paulo Coutinho (vocals),Marcelo Eiger (bass and backing vocals),Carlos Ceroni (keyboards and backing vocals) and Nina Pará (drums) will begin recording the effort later this month at Via Musique Studios in São Paulo with producer Tiago Bianchi (KARMA, WIZARDS, TUATHA DE DANANN, ETERNA).

KAVLA's debut album, "Dream or Reality" (1995),featured a guest appearance by Kiko Loureiro (ANGRA) and was recorded and mixed by Átila Ardanuy (ex-ANJOS DA NOITE, ZERO HORA and producer of bands such as WIZARDS, VENUS, MADRA and CAVALAR). Excited by the great response to the EP "Impersonal World" (2005),which was produced by Fábio Ribeiro (SHAAMAN, BLEZQI ZATSAZ, ex-ANGRA, OVERDOSE),and by the successful gigs which brought KAVLA back to the scene, the new album will present more complex and mature songs, based on a more traditional heavy metal approach, but quite modern and with lots of melody, without losing the hard rock feel.
