Brazilian Female Thrashers NERVOSA Sign With NAPALM RECORDS

May 4, 2012

Paulo, Brazil-based all-female thrash metal trio NERVOSA has inked a deal with Napalm Records. The band's debut album will be released later this year.

According to a press release, NERVOSA's music "has strong influences from classic old-school thrash metal bands, such as SLAYER, SEPULTURA and EXODUS, perfectly mixed with original and characteristic features inserted in the songs by each of the bandmembers."

Commented NERVOSA bassist/vocalist Fernanda Lira: "It is with great pleasure and happiness that we announce that we are now part of the Napalm Records family. It means a lot to us to begin working with such renowned label that has such an admirable roster of bands. Napalm was the first one to believe in our work as much as we do, and I have no doubt that we will have a long, hard-working, and successful relationship together!"

NERVOSA's first video, "Masked Betrayer", can be seen below.

NERVOSA is:

Fernanda Lira (ex-HELLARISE) - Bass, Vocals
Prika Amaral (ex-LAMA NEGRA) - Guitar, Backing Vocals
Fernanda Terra (ex-FOOD4LIFE, FINAL FIGHT) - Drums
