October 16, 2007

CHAOSPHERE, DECOMPOSED GOD, INFESTED BLOOD, HANAGORIK and OBSCURITY TEARS are among the bands from the state of Pernambuco (Northeastern Brazil) who will pay tribute to the biggest Brazilian heavy metal artist ever, SEPULTURA, on the upcoming album "Ratamahatta - De Pernambuco Para o Mundo: Um Tributo ao Sepultura".

Organized and produced by Dante's Hell Productions, the compilation will commemorate SEPULTURA's upcoming 24th anniversary in 2008 and will be available for download via the official SEPULTURA web site. Fans all over the world will be able obtain all the songs and everything related to the tribute album for free.

Commented SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser: "Pernambuco is a Brazilian state with an unique and very rich culture. Pernambuco's popular culture has influenced SEPULTURA, especially CHICO SCIENCE & A NAÇÃO ZUMBI, [which] showed a new way for Brazilian popular music. I have always great memories from Pernambuco. It was there where I've played with SEPULTURA for the first time. In Pernambuco, I feel like home. I'm proud of being a member of SEPULTURA. Every tribute is very welcome. I hope that this tribute help us to keep motivating and inspiring the new generations to follow music way."

The complete track listing for the tribute album will be announced soon.
