Brazilian THRASH OF THE TITANS Cancelled!

March 13, 2002

The Brazilian edition of the Thrash Of The Titans festival, which was set to take place on April 20th at Estacionamento do Anhembi in São Paulo, has been cancelled and is unlikely to be rescheduled, according to several informed sources. Although no official announcement has yet been made, it appears that poor organization is largely to blame for the cancellation, with many of the basic details having remained sketchy nearly a month prior to the originally scheduled concert date.

São Paulo's Thrash Of The Titans was being billed as a benefit event that would raise funds for Brazilian hospitals for the treatment of cancer diseases, and was set to include appearances by such acts as ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, MACHINE HEAD, DEATH ANGEL, and EXODUS, among others.
