BRET MICHAELS And SNAPPLE Continue To Rock Consumers' Taste Buds With Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka

May 11, 2011

Snapple today announced that, due to continued consumer demand, Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka Tea has become part of the brand's permanent product offering. Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka Tea, which was co-developed by POISON singer Bret Michaels, blends healthy green tea and tasty black tea with pear, cinnamon and mango flavors to create a rockin' taste with low calories.

"Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka has been one of the best-selling limited-time-offers in Snapple history," said Regan Ebert, vice president of marketing for Snapple. "We're proud to work with Bret to continue making this wildly popular tea available to Snapple fans nationwide."

From the moment the limited-edition Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka Tea became available last year, it was apparent Snapple and Michaels had created a fan favorite. The flavor remains one of the most frequent topics on the Snapple Facebook page, and fans have passionately campaigned to keep Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka Tea available.

"When I created my Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka Tea, I made it my mission to design the best-tasting diet drink on earth made from the best stuff on earth. Creating Diet Snapple Trop-A-Rocka Tea and donating $250,000 to diabetes research was just the beginning. I'm thrilled that Snapple will be making Trop-A-Rocka a part of its permanent offering," said Michaels. "As a lifelong diabetic I know that when it comes to taste, diet drinks don't always hit the mark, so I created a healthy drink with a deliciously exotic twist. People from all walks of life have spoken, and the positive feedback we've gotten has been amazing. Thanks to all of the support from the fans and Snapple Trop-A-Rocka is going to keep on rocking harder than ever before."
