BRET MICHAELS: 'Driven' Video Available

November 26, 2008

POISON frontman Bret Michaels' video for the single "Driven", off his "Rock My World" album, has been released exclusively on BretMichaels.com and can be viewed below. The clip contains footage from the singer's VH1 show "Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels" — the first time it has been made available to the public before the program airs in January. The video will air on VH1 next week.

Bret Michaels has seen enormous success in the music business over his 20-plus-year career, setting records across the globe in album sales and tour sales. As the hard-rockin solo front man and lead singer of the mega-group POISON, Michaels is known for his trademark bandana/cowboy hats and wild charismatic onstage persona, and is consistently voted sexiest rock star by fans and rock magazines alike. He has also become widely recognized for his capabilities as a singer/songwriter collaborating alongside some of the biggest names in the music business. Michaels has sold 30 million albums worldwide and his success is now exploding in other media categories including music, television and video games. Bret's story expands beyond the rock and roll spotlight he has fought a lifelong battle with diabetes. Off the road he is a devoted father to two young daughters. Bret is also known as a great sports enthusiast and to fans he is as down to earth as it gets.

"Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels" premieres January 4, 2009 at 9:00 p.m. EST/8:00 p.m. CST on VH1.

Michaels, who has been referred to as a "cultural touchdown" by Viacom's Judy McGrath, will tour for the majority of next year, with dates kicking off in February, and will release his autobiography with publishers Simon & Shuster in April. Fans can catch Michaels next week when he performs at the new Aliante Station Casino in Las Vegas and Morongo Casino in Cabazon, California.
