BRET MICHAELS Involved In Tour Bus Accident

June 22, 2013

POISON frontman Bret Michaels was involved in a road accident this past Friday morning (June 21) while his tour bus was traveling between shows from Abilene,Texas to Biloxi, Mississippi. According to Celebuzz, the vehicle hit some deer on the highway, with Michaels, as well as his driver and head of security, escaping relatively unscathed.

"Except for some bumps and bruises, I am thankful there were no serious injuries," said Michaels. "It is unfortunate for the deer, but thankfully due to modern RV technology and a steel firewall, we are all okay. I have every intention to make tonight's show in Biloxi and the tour will continue."

Travel Channel's new original series, "Rock My RV With Bret Michaels", premiered on May 26. The 16-episode series — 15 half-hours and a special one-hour finale — debuted with back-to-back episodes, and kicked off Travel Channel's "We Are Summer" multiplatform programming initiative. Each episode features the transformation of one of 16 beaten and bruised RVs into a customized RV — culminating in a show-stopping reveal — designed and built under the direction of RV enthusiast Michaels.
