Bret Michaels will release a new solo album, entitled "Rock My World", on June 3 via VH1 Classic Records. The songs perfectly blend the hard-charging rock beats with soulful ballads. Primarily recorded in his home studio in Los Angeles, the album proves that Michaels' is truly a rock and roll star that believes music comes first.
"I've always been a rock 'n' roll guy at heart and this album is true to that. I've taken the sound of a classic '70s rock riff and embodied that in a more modern production," said Michaels. "The entire feel of the album, musically and lyrically, is about that rock and roll core."
The track listing for the CD which appears to contain mostly previously released materal is as follows:
01. Go That Far
06. Start Again
07. Songs Of Life
08. Strange Sensation
09. All I Ever Needed
10. Menace To Society
11. Right Now, Right Here
12. It's My Party
The entire album is now available for streaming via VH1.com's "The Leak" at this location.
