BRET MICHAELS: Yakima Concert Cancelation Blamed On Poor Ticket Sales

According to The Wenatchee World, last Saturday's (September 11) Bret Michaels concert at Yakima County Stadiumin Yakima, Washington was canceled due to poor ticket sales.

"Very disappointing," Cheryl Salomone, Yakima general manager for Townsquare Media, told The Wenatchee World. "We heard a lot of people talking about it, but people just didn't buy tickets."

As of September 6, only about 600 of the 3,500 available tickets had sold, Salomone said. She blamed a combination of factors — an outdoor show with uncertain weather predictions, the all-general-admission ticket policy and a weary ticket-buying public.
