BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION: New Album To Be Produced By ANDY JOHNS

February 13, 2005

BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION have selected Andy Johns to produce their sophomore album — the group's first since the departure of MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx.

Andy Johns had previously worked with BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION guitarist Tracii Guns on the L.A. GUNS "Waking the Dead" album, which Guns has referred to as "my favorite L.A. GUNS record."

BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION will have a camera crew filming them for the next two months of writing and recording, although it's presently unclear if the resultant footage will be released in conjunction with the upcoming album.

The band, who were recently joined by guitarist Ginger (THE WILDHEARTS) and bassist Scott Sorry (ex-AMEN),played their first show with the new formation last Thursday (Feb. 10) at the Trees club in Dallas, Texas (as part of the Dallas Music Fest). The group's set list for the concert was as follows:

01. Shut The Fuck Up
02. Natural Born Killers
03. Brace Yourself
04. 2 Times Dead
05. Red House
06. I Got A Gun
07. Life
08. Geetar Solo Stuff
09. Revolution
10. I Don't Care
11. One More Reason
12. Never Enough
13. Rip 'n Tear

Commented Guns: "This band is much better as a five-piece. Dallas was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

"After the show, Vinnie Paul, John Graham and crew took the whole band and crew out to Vinnie and Dimebag's Clubhouse. They showed us a hell of a time. We drank like FISHES with Paul Gargano, Gong from DROWNING POOL… super great time!!!!"
